Comprehensive Pre-operative Visit

We believe strongly that an informed patient is more confident and relaxed. This requires good communication between doctor and patient, so we like to set up a comprehensive pre-operative visit once your surgery is scheduled. During this visit, we will review your procedure in detail and answer any questions or concerns you may have. We will review and discuss your medical history and order any additional tests. You will receive thorough post-operative instructions and all necessary prescriptions, as well as a post-operative packet to take home.

Recovery

Advances in plastic surgery have been dramatic. Recovery time has been improved for virtually all cosmetic procedures. Advanced technology, small incisions, and new techniques all improve recovery times. Tissues are handled gently during surgery, and new post-operative care techniques are used to limit swelling and bruising. This allows patients to recover much more quickly. In many cases, patients return to work and activities after a long weekend. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to call us. Your surgeon and/or his staff are available 24 hours a day... for you.

Payment Options & Insurance

Every patient needs information about payment options and potential insurance benefits. We hope the following information will be helpful.

Payment Options

A number of payment options are possible, such as credit cards, personal check, cashier's check, or cash. The options may be used individually or combined as necessary. All payments for surgery are due in full at least seven business days prior to the scheduled procedure. If you are paying with a personal check, payment in full is required a minimum of ten business days prior to the date of your surgery. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Optional Finance Plans

Our medical practice does not handle "in-house financing," but we are happy to refer you to the following financing companies. We can also assist you in applying for financing, should you desire.

Insurance Coverage

Because we are primarily a cosmetic surgery practice, we are not providers under many insurance plans. Please contact our office as we are happy to assist you in filing with your insurance company and obtaining proper codes to help you with reimbursement after surgery when at all possible. Please keep in mind that regardless of insurance reimbursement, payment is due prior to surgery.
