Breast augmentation is a highly customizable procedure. Every person’s goals are very different, which means each surgery must be specifically tailored to the individual. From the size and shape to the specific material and profile, there are many ways to adjust your enhancement to achieve the look you want. Whether you enjoy the quiet lifestyle of Chambers County or have a busy professional life in the greater Bay Area, Dr. Sam Sukkar provides the specialized attention needed to reach your desired bustline.

Personalized Volume

What is Breast Augmentation?

Breast augmentation surgery, or augmentation mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure that uses medical-grade implants or fat grafting to improve the size and contour of the breast. During a typical breast augmentation procedure, a breast pocket is created either behind the breast tissue or beneath the chest muscles to house the implant.

We offer both high-cohesive silicone breast implants and traditional saline implants, with implant placement chosen based on your rib cage anatomy and existing tissue. Dr. Sukkar uses specific techniques to minimize trauma to the area, which helps the body heal and ensures the augmented breasts sit naturally against the chest wall.

A Boost in Confidence

Benefits of Breast Augmentation

Getting a breast augmentation can change how you feel in everything from professional attire to activewear. Most of our breast augmentation patients find that it significantly improves their self-image and how they feel in their own skin.

  • Personalized Proportions: Balance your bust with your hips and waistline.
  • Volume Restoration: Fix "deflation" that often happens after weight loss or nursing.
  • Symmetry: Correct breast asymmetry where one breast is noticeably different in size.
  • Safe Materials: We use only FDA-approved silicone gel implants and saline-filled implants.
  • Visual Harmony: Enhance breast shape and size regardless of the specific implant types you choose.

Choosing Your Volume

Types of Breast Implants

The variety of breast implant sizes and shapes available today allows Dr. Sukkar to be incredibly precise. During your visit, we will discuss materials and profiles to ensure the end result feels like a natural part of your body.

Breast Augmentation vs. Breast Implants

While people often use these terms to mean the same thing, breast augmentation actually refers to the goal of increasing size, whereas breast implants are just one tool used to get there. Most women choose an implant to reach their target breast size, but it isn't the only way to add volume during a breast procedure. We look at your anatomy and breast enhancement goals to decide if a medical device or your own tissue is the better fit.

Autologous Fat Grafting

For those seeking a very subtle change without using artificial materials, autologous fat grafting is an excellent option. We use a process similar to a BBL to harvest fat from areas like the hips or thighs, process those cells, and carefully inject them into the breast. This creates a soft, natural appearance with no risk of implant rupture, though it generally provides a more modest increase in volume compared to traditional breast surgery.

Saline Breast Implants

Saline breast implants consist of a silicone shell filled with sterile saltwater. They are a time-tested, safe choice for women 18 and older. One benefit of a saline breast is that if a leak occurs, the body safely absorbs the saltwater. However, because saline is less dense than gel, it may be more prone to visible rippling if you have very little natural tissue for soft tissue coverage.

Silicone Gel Breast Implants

Silicone gel breast implants are the most popular choice for our Mont Belvieu patients because they most closely mimic the feel of natural fat. These use a viscous silicone gel that holds its shape even if the shell is compromised. These silicone implants are FDA-approved for women 22 and older and provide a very discreet, soft result that is less likely to ripple over time.

Size, Shape, and Profile

We also consider the "footprint" and projection of the implant. Round implants typically provide the most fullness in the upper part of the breast and create more noticeable cleavage. Shaped implants (teardrop) offer a more sloped, anatomical look. We match the implant position and profile to your anatomy to ensure your proportions stay balanced.

Heightened Volume, Youthful Position

Breast Augmentation with Lift

Sometimes, adding volume alone isn't enough to reach your goals. If you are dealing with sagging breasts, a condition called ptosis, an implant might actually make the sagging look more pronounced. This is why many women choose to combine their augmentation surgery with a breast lift.

Addressing Volume and Gravity Together

While the implant provides the breast volume you want, a breast lift removes excess skin and tightens the internal tissue. This repositions the nipple and the breast mass higher on the chest. By pairing these two cosmetic procedures, Dr. Sukkar can give you a bustline that is both fuller and perkier, effectively reversing the effects of aging or nursing in a single surgical procedure.

Finding Your Ideal Fit

Am I a Candidate for Breast Augmentation?

A good candidate is a healthy person who wants to change their breast shape for their own reasons. Whether you are looking for a dramatic increase or a subtle fix, you should have enough healthy tissue for adequate coverage. During your consultation, we will look at your medical history and any history of breast cancer to ensure the cosmetic surgery procedure is a safe choice for you.

What Happens on Surgery Day

Your Treatment Experience

Your breast implant surgery takes place in our private, accredited center serving the Mont Belvieu area. You will be under general anesthesia managed by a professional team. Dr. Sukkar makes careful breast augmentation incisions, often hidden in the breast fold, to allow for implant insertion while making sure scars stay as hidden as possible. Surgeon preference often leans toward placing the implant under the pectoralis major muscle for a smoother transition. Afterward, you’ll rest in a private suite with our nursing staff.

Helping You Settle Beautifully

Recovery After Breast Augmentation

Most of our Mont Belvieu patients get back to their normal daily routine within three to five days. You’ll wear a supportive bra for a few weeks to keep the implants in the right position while you heal. It is very important to avoid heavy lifting or high-impact workouts for six weeks to allow the scar tissue to form correctly and ensure patient safety.

Volume For Life

Breast Augmentation Results

You will see the breast augmentation results immediately after your surgery, though the final shape takes about three to six months to settle. While implants are long-lasting, we recommend regular imaging to check for any breast implant rupture. Staying at a stable weight is the best way to keep your results looking great for years.

Pricing for Surgical Excellence

Cost of Breast Augmentation

The price depends on your specific goals and the implant type you choose. Your total covers the plastic surgeon fees, the facility, anesthesia, and all your follow-up care. To make your procedure fit your budget, we offer financing through CareCredit and PatientFi. We will give you a full, detailed quote during your visit.

Breast AugmentationFAQs

Silicone gel implants feel more like natural tissue. Saline breast implants are filled with saltwater and can be adjusted during the surgical procedure. Dr. Sukkar will go over this so you can choose what is right for your body.

All procedures have potential risks, such as capsular contracture (tight scar tissue) or implant rupture. There is also a very rare risk known as breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL), which can affect the immune system. Dr. Sukkar will go over all of this with you.

Yes. If you ever want your breast implants removed, we can do that. Some women choose to replace the volume with fat grafting using their own tissue at that time.

You can still have imaging done. You just need to let the technician know you have implants so they can use special views to see all the breast tissue clearly.

If you experience unusual breast pain or suspect a breast implant illness, we recommend an immediate follow-up appointment to check the integrity of the implants.
