Our entire staff here at Sukkar Aesthetic Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa recently participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Houston. Our team, called the “Sukkar Recon Warriors” worked together to raise funds to support research and awareness for breast cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so we were excited to be able to participate and support such a good cause!
As a plastic surgeon who offers breast reconstruction to breast cancer survivors after having a mastectomy, this cause is close to Dr. Sukkar’s heart. He cares very much for his patients, and he was happy to get a chance to show his support for women all over the world. Team “Sukkar Recon Warriors” raised a total of $530 in donations for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, more than doubling our team goal!
Dr. Sukkar says he plans to continue supporting breast cancer prevention, awareness, and research, and hopes to participate in this event again. Our team is excited to hopefully raise even more donations next year!
